In the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, a remarkable project is underway to make dreams come true for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, organized by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, is not just a chance to win a beautiful home but a beacon of hope for patients and their families.
This year is the 20th annual St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway in Nashville, TN, and for over 10 years, Signature Homes has had the honor and pleasure to be a partner of the Giveaway. This campaign is an annual fundraising event that presents Signature Homes, as well as the general public, with a special opportunity to support this amazing organization in finding a cure for childhood cancer. It is something that we pour our hearts and hard work into so that we can help make a difference in families’ lives.

The impact of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway extends far beyond the walls of the dream home. For patients like Levi and Mia, St. Jude represents a beacon of hope and healing. With the help and generosity of donors and supporters, Levi, Mia, and countless other children can receive world-class medical care and support at no cost to their families.
Meet this year’s patients Levi and Mia!
Levi
Following several episodes of sudden high fevers around Mother’s Day 2019, Levi was found to have acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). He was quickly referred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® where he began two-and-a-half years of chemotherapy. Not long after starting treatment, 8-year-old Levi was comfortably using terms like ANC and hemoglobin in conversation. He desperately missed being able to get outside and ride bikes with other kids when his immunity was low. But, he found things to enjoy like the spaghetti and meatballs at the St. Jude cafeteria. Levi finished treatment in December 2021 and remains in remission. He really likes science, and was excited in science class to already know so much about blood cells, from his experience with leukemia and his treatment.
Mia
Mia’s dream is to be a princess when she grows up, and like her favorite princess, Snow White, she is cheerful and friendly, always showing affection to those around her. Mia steals the heart of everyone who meets her. Mia also has an independent streak and a strength of will that has helped her face up to some very difficult challenges. One day, after running and playing in the park, Mia had some unusual cramps in her leg. The cause was neurological; Mia had a cancerous brain tumor called anaplastic ependymoma. “My world came crashing down,” says her dad, Jorge. “The first thing my wife said to me was, ‘We’re going to fight.’ We would fight to the very end.” After undergoing surgery in her home country of Nicaragua, Mia was referred to St. Jude where she received proton therapy as part of her treatment. Mia loves to do puzzles and play with Lego and dolls, her favorite being Snow White. In spite of everything, her mom says that Mia has never stopped smiling.
What is the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway?
St. Jude partners with around 40 builders nationally each year to design and construct stunning homes, one being Signature Homes, all over the United States that will then be available through a raffle-style lottery. Tickets are $100 and each and every cent of your ticket goes toward the St. Jude kids and the mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving children.®

The 2024 St. Jude Dream Home
Signature Homes’ 2024 Dream Home is underway in Nashville, TN. You can find this year’s home in our Saddlewalk at June Lake community located in Thompson’s Station, TN. The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway home, and other prizes, will be given away live on News 2 on June 23, 2024!
